I'm a 24 year old professional poker player from London and I focus on low stakes MTTs, primarily in Omaha Eight or Better and Pot Limit Omaha. I also dabble in Sit n Go's but play Cash Games purely for fun.
I began playing Poker shortly after my 18th birthday. The online gaming league I played and was an admin on partnered with a small European Poker site and the prospect of playing a game for profit excited me. I played there briefly but soon found that the tournaments were too small and were often cancelled, so I searched for a bigger poker site and found PokerStars. I never looked back.
In 2010 I read Super System 2 and loved it, specifically the chapter on Omaha Eight or Better. The game sounded exciting but simple to learn. I tried out the micro stakes cash games and was instantly hooked. The action was constant and even though I had only just learnt the game, I felt that I was already better than the average player, granted at 2PL, and I was winning, a lot.
After brief spells grinding PLO8 Cash Games, NLHE 180 man SnGs and NLHE MTTs I discerned that my biggest edge was in PLO8 MTTs and have played these games, lucratively, for the past two years. Recently, I also added in PLO MTTs to my schedule and am becoming more and more proficient in the game every day.
I have played professionally since I graduated from University in October 2013 and am hoping to work within the industry, either as a player or otherwise, for a long time to come!
